Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Future Energy Venture Ltd. operates the Power Configurator at app.futureenergyventure.com (the "Service"), a screening-level power-project sizing and cost tool for industrial, mining, utility and telecom operators across Africa.
2. Nature of the Service
Every output produced by the Service — including the generation mix, equipment configuration, CAPEX and OPEX estimates, LCOE, payback figures and permitting summaries — is indicative and screening-level. It is intended to inform early scoping conversations and is not a substitute for detailed engineering, environmental impact, financial, tax or legal advice. Do not use the Service's output as the sole basis for investment, procurement or regulatory decisions.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@futureenergyventure.com of any unauthorised use.
4. Pricing and credits
Prices are shown on the pricing page and include a free first pass, single detailed reports and multi-report bundles. Bundle credits expire twelve (12) months after purchase. Redeemed credits are consumed as soon as a detailed report is unlocked for a project. Promo codes are single-use per account unless stated otherwise.
5. Payment providers
Payments are processed by PayPal and Paddle. We do not store card numbers or bank details ourselves. By checking out you also agree to the payment provider's own terms.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, available at /refund-policy. In short: unspent credits are refundable for 14 days from purchase; redeemed credits are non-refundable because the underlying report has been generated.
7. Acceptable use
You may not (a) reverse engineer, scrape or resell Service outputs beyond your own project scoping, (b) submit inputs designed to defraud the sizing engine, (c) share your account with third parties or (d) use the Service in violation of applicable sanctions, export controls or local law.
8. Intellectual property
All software, engine coefficients, country data packs, PDF templates and copy on the Service are the property of Future Energy Venture Ltd.. You retain ownership of the project inputs and results you generate and may use them for your own business purposes. You may not republish the Service's coefficient tables or country data packs.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Future Energy Venture Ltd.'s aggregate liability arising out of your use of the Service is capped at the greater of (i) the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim and (ii) USD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or fail to pay owed amounts. You may close your account at any time by emailing contact@futureenergyventure.com.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users and by an in-app notice at least seven (7) days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Seychelles. Disputes not resolved through good-faith discussion will be resolved before the competent courts of the Republic of Seychelles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-law protections applicable to you.
